Attend Winter Dance Party 2016? You are a unique voice in the Surf Ballroom's living history and we want to hear from you! Your involvement is critical to the success of this crowdsourced history project.
Whether you were at the Surf as an event volunteer, guest artist or perennial superfan, this year's Winter Dance Party story can only be told in true and authentic technicolor with your participation!
How to Get Involved:

Participate in the group photo for The Surf Speaks "Class of 2016" and the National Trust for Historic Preservation's This Place Matters campaign! Join us Sat., Feb. 6 at 1:45 pm in the ballroom immediately following the Wedding/Vow Renewal Ceremony.

Sign The Surf Speaks "Class of 2016" banner at the coat check counter in the lobby after the group photo!

Complete the questionnaire provided below. Demographic and contact information will be kept strictly confidential. It is optional but encouraged that you include your photos, videos and scanned digital copies of memorabillia (ie., special autographed items) from the 2016 event.

We are not collecting information from past Winter Dance Party events. The Surf Speaks will contribute to existing documentation of the annual Winter Dance Party to help provide a more comprehensive account of the event's history from 1979 to present. We aspire to make this project a positive and memorable experience for everyone and to create something special, resonant and lasting.
